Dr Fiona Simon is the CEO of the Australian Industrial Decarbonisation Council (AIDC), the national forum for companies decarbonising Australia’s industrial assets and investing in future industrial growth.

Fiona joined the Australian Hydrogen Council as CEO in mid-2019. In mid-2026, the organisation became AIDC, reflecting the broader range of policy, infrastructure, energy, market and investment conditions that determine whether industrial decarbonisation projects proceed.

Before joining the Council, Fiona worked for close to 20 years in energy policy and regulation, specialising in energy retail competition and consumer protection. She holds a Bachelor of Arts and a Doctor of Philosophy from the University of Melbourne and has published a well-regarded academic book on retail energy regulation in Australia.

Keira Dinsdale-Facci is the Operations and Member Manager for the Australian Industrial Decarbonisation Council (AIDC).

Keira is responsible for engaging with members on a day-to-day basis and managing the smooth rollout of all member events including educational webinars and member meetings.

Keira collaborates with members on upcoming media announcements and drives the AIDC’s internal communications strategy.
